Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Executive Job Hunter is built for one thing: helping you run a serious, private job search. This policy explains what that covers, what falls outside it, and how we handle the rare cases where usage crosses the line. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Acceptable Use
Executive Job Hunter exists to support an individual, human-driven job search. Using the service as intended means things like:
- Saving and tracking the jobs, companies, and contacts in your own search
- Running AI features — research, resume tailoring, interview preparation, offer analysis — on roles you are genuinely pursuing
- Using the extension on the supported job sites as you browse them yourself
- Using one subscription for one person's search, on the devices you personally use
If that describes how you use the product, nothing in this policy will ever affect you.
Prohibited Use
The following uses of the service are not permitted on any plan:
- Automated or scripted access — driving the extension, AI features, or our servers with bots, scripts, macros, or any form of programmatic access
- Bulk or machine-scale requests — generating requests at a volume or pattern no individual working their own search would produce
- Sharing one subscription across multiple people — a subscription licenses one person; teams, agencies, and career-services firms need a subscription per user
- Reselling or commercializing the service — offering EJH features, outputs, or access to third parties as part of a paid service
- Circumventing limits or controls — working around technical safeguards, licensing checks, or plan boundaries
- Abuse that degrades the service — any activity that harms service quality, reliability, or security for other users
Fair Use of "Unlimited" Plans
Some plans include features we describe as unlimited, such as AI on the Executive plan. Here is what that means, plainly:
Unlimited means generous limits for one person's real job search. Use the AI as often as your search genuinely calls for — daily, heavily, across many roles. Our safeguards are set so that no individual conducting their own search, however active, should ever encounter them.
Unlimited does not mean machine-scale or shared use. The safeguards exist to catch automation, account sharing, and volumes of usage that no single job seeker would produce — not to meter your work. We may apply reasonable technical limits behind the scenes to protect service quality, and where we act, we act proportionately.
Our commitment: we will never nickel-and-dime normal use. If you are one person running your own search, the word "unlimited" means exactly what you would expect it to mean.
Enforcement
When usage appears inconsistent with this policy, we respond in steps, and always proportionately:
- Throttle — affected features may be temporarily slowed while we look at what's happening
- Contact — for anything that looks like good-faith use, we reach out first and talk it through
- Suspend — deliberate abuse, automation, or resale may lead to suspension or a required plan change
Most situations resolve with a conversation. Suspension is reserved for clear, intentional violations.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted here. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
