Terms of Service

Introduction
These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("User") and SGL Tech LLC (USA). By accessing, installing, downloading, adding the extension to Chrome, or using any free or paid version of eJobHunter ("Platform"), you agree to all Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.
Global Applicability
These Terms apply to Users worldwide, subject to mandatory consumer protections in their jurisdictions.
Acceptance Through Use
Use of any part of the Platform constitutes legal acceptance. No signature or clickwrap is required for enforceability.
No Account System; Local Data Only
eJobHunter does not create user accounts or store job data on external servers. All job-search data, tool usage content, automation outputs, and configuration data remain stored locally on your device. SGL Tech LLC cannot view, access, recover, or restore local data.
Billing Data
All payments are processed exclusively by our Merchant of Record. SGL Tech LLC receives only encrypted metadata such as:
- Email address
- IP address
- Billing country
- Subscription status
- Transaction ID
No credit card numbers or banking data are ever shared with us.
Pricing and Price Changes
Current prices for paid plans and one-time purchases are shown on our pricing page. Because Executive Job Hunter depends on AI models and other third-party services whose costs can rise or fall over time, SGL Tech LLC reserves the right to adjust its prices. Any price change applies only to purchases and subscription renewals that occur after the change takes effect. It never changes the price of a subscription term you are already in, and it never applies retroactively.
For active subscribers, a price change takes effect at your next renewal, and we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email before that renewal is billed. You may cancel at any time before the renewal, in which case your plan continues at your current price until the end of the period you have already paid for and then does not renew. One-time purchases, including AI credit packs, are always honored at the price paid at the time of purchase; a later price change does not affect credits you have already bought.
This section does not limit your rights under our 30-day money-back guarantee on annual plans or under applicable consumer protection law.
Complimentary Licenses
From time to time SGL Tech LLC may grant complimentary ("comp") access to paid features at no charge for a set period. A complimentary license is a courtesy, is not a paid subscription, and may be modified or ended at our discretion. If you choose to start a paid plan while holding a complimentary license, your paid subscription begins on the date of purchase, and any remaining complimentary time does not carry over to, or extend, the paid term. You are free to keep using your complimentary access until it ends before subscribing. One-time purchases such as AI credit packs may be made while on a complimentary license and do not change its terms.
We may also, at our sole discretion, grant complimentary AI credits — for example as a goodwill gesture or to help resolve a support issue. Complimentary credits are not purchased, have no cash value, are non-transferable and non-refundable, and expire 30 days after they are granted. They may be used toward AI actions available on your current plan but do not unlock any higher tier or its exclusive features, and they are separate from purchased AI credit packs, which do not expire. Complimentary credits are provided at our discretion and are not a promised or ongoing benefit.
License
User receives a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license for personal or professional use. User may NOT:
- Reverse engineer, modify, scrape, extract, or redistribute Platform components
- Circumvent licensing or authentication mechanisms
- Copy or replicate proprietary workflows
- Use the Platform to develop competing services
User Responsibilities
User is fully responsible for:
- Device security
- Browser integrity
- Backups of all local data
- Ensuring extension compatibility
- Avoiding misuse or prohibited conduct
Fair Use of Unlimited Features
Certain plans include features described as "unlimited," including AI-powered features on the Executive plan. These features are provided for the normal, individual use of one person running their own job search. To protect service quality and reliability for all users, unlimited features remain subject to reasonable fair-use safeguards designed to prevent abuse — including automated or scripted access, bulk or machine-generated requests, use of one subscription by multiple people, and volumes of usage far beyond what an individual job search would reasonably generate.
Where usage is inconsistent with normal individual use, SGL Tech LLC may temporarily throttle the affected features, contact you to discuss the usage, suspend access, or require a change of plan. These measures are applied proportionately, and typical users will never encounter them. Further details are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Service Modification
SGL Tech may update, alter, suspend, disable, or discontinue any feature without liability.
Intellectual Property
All branding, design, code, content, and technology belong exclusively to SGL Tech LLC (USA).
Feedback License
All user suggestions become perpetual, royalty-free property of SGL Tech LLC.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access for violations or harmful behavior. No refunds are issued except as required by law through our payment processor.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," and "WITH ALL FAULTS." No guarantees are made regarding accuracy, uptime, fitness, or reliability. Job-search automation results are informational only.
Limitation of Liability (Maximum Enforceable Protection)
To the fullest extent permitted globally:
1. SGL Tech LLC (USA), including its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates ("SGL Tech Parties"), SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for:
- Lost profits, lost jobs, or lost opportunities
- Data loss (including local storage loss)
- Device/browser corruption
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
2. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED:
(a) The total amount paid by User in the previous 12 months, OR
(b) Fifty U.S. dollars ($50),
WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
3. ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM CAP: Under no circumstances shall liability exceed two hundred forty-nine dollars ($249).
4. NO PERSONAL LIABILITY: No individual associated with SGL Tech LLC may be named in any action.
Limitation Period
No claim may be filed more than one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless all SGL Tech Parties from claims arising from misuse or violation of these Terms.
No Professional Advice
Outputs from eJobHunter do not constitute legal, career, or professional advice.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our control.
Arbitration & Class Waiver
Disputes must be resolved exclusively via binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under Virginia law. No class actions, jury trials, or court claims are permitted.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.
